Ok, here we go again. They’ve done it again. Switchfoot just gets better and better. There isn’t much to dislike about this album. It’s solid, straightforward rock that we’ve come to enjoy from these guys.

I must admit right up front that I’ve been a Switchfoot fan from the beginning. I’ve liked their sound and their lyrics. They have been criticized for being too pop
, for selling out, for not being evangelistic enough and for even being Christian.
Since the holiday season is fast approaching, I thought I would do an overview of some new and old Christmas music favorites that make the play list at our house through the holidays. I know it might be a little early yet, but hey, my kids have been known to play some of these year round. I’m going to start with a couple of new CDs that I’ve picked up this year. I’ll follow with some older favourites and then end with some other new releases that sound promising. So let’s get going!
