I’ve been a fan of Starflyer 59 for a very long time. I would have to say they are probably in my top 10 all time favourite bands. Jason Martin has been putting out SF59 albums around 14 years now. That’s quite a long time for a band that has never received the recognition that he deserves. So here’s my chance to get the word out. If you’ve missed these guys, here’s your chance.

artist you’ve never heard of, having just made Indelible Creative Group’s Top 20 Indie 2008 compilation CD. “Every Minute Miracles” is straightforward and heartfelt pop-rock about “finding God’s graces in the most mundane, day-to-day experiences.” His music is about our daily search for God.
I have a couple of interesting Christmas albums for you here. They come from total polar ends of the music spectrum. The first is from the indie darling Rosie Thomas with a very low-key CD of her (and yours’ I’m sure) Christmas favorites, title “A Very Rosie Christmas.” The second is from Project 86 (yeah, I’m not kidding) and is titled “This Time of Year.”

This has to be one of the best indie
records that I’ve listened to. Jason Clark, formerly of the band Fringe, and crew have crafted an emotionally deep and sincere CD of praise. Accompanying Jason are his band mates from Fringe; Eric Perry on drums, Charlie Townsend on guitars and Jeremy Cole on bass.

The Roosevelts have released their debut album “… it’s so hard to make a sound.” The Roosevelts are an indie style, alt-rock band hailing from Tennessee, the land of county and western. They’ve been a popular band on the local scene for many years in that state and are on the verge of breaking out.
