Band/Artist: T-Bone
T-Bone has seven others albums before “Bone-A-Fide”, his recent self-produced CD, going all the way back to his first one in 1991. He is also on the soundtrack to “The Fighting Temptations” movie, with Cuba Gooding Jr. and Beyonce Knowles. T-Bone played one of the convicts that is allowed to sing with the choir. In the end he is released and is a official member of the choir. (Go T-Bone! Yea!)

I really like this CD. It has a beat from the street if you know what I mean. He gets up close and personal in this album, telling you the facts. He gets his point across in ways that the younger generation will actually listen to. My fave songs are “Hard Streets”, “Shake Ya Body”, “You Can’t Win”, and “Bounce”. He is saying that no matter where you live to follow God and not to follow what’s going on on the streets.
Altogether this album targets the young ones, but my dad listened to T-Bone in his early days so he likes to listen to “Bone-A-Fide” every once and a while. I would suggest this CD as a Christmas present for someone who shuts down whenever you try to talk to him or her about his or her faith. Or you could buy it for yourself, whatever floats your boat. Its all up to you.
