Band/Artist: Surrendered and Untamed
Album: “Surrendered and Untamed”

Label: Surrendered and Untamed

This has to be one of the best indie

records that I’ve listened to. Jason Clark, formerly of the band Fringe, and crew have crafted an emotionally deep and sincere CD of praise. Accompanying Jason are his band mates from Fringe; Eric Perry on drums, Charlie Townsend on guitars and Jeremy Cole on bass.

Jason sites his musical influences as U2, Sting, Keith Green and Phil Keagey. You can here the Bono/Sting influences in Jason’s smooth and emotion vocals. Add a little David Mayer into it and you have an idea of his style. The music handling has some of that feel as well, think U2’s “The Unforgettable Fire”. The band is tight and talented.

The project was born out of Jason’s journey of living surrendered and untamed for God and the changes that have taken place in him. After putting music aside when Fringe ended, Jason felt God had given him the green light for this project. The vision is this, “To live surrendered and untamed is to have every aspect of your life devoted to worship. A worship lifestyle is one of surrender and service, they go hand in hand. A true worship lifestyle requires both.” The CD really personifies that vision.

Now here’s the coolest thing, they are giving the CD away as a free download now. Don’t wait, run, click their link at the top of the page and go get it. Now. On their homepage, click “the album” to get the downloads.
