. Could it be as awesome as their last album? In truth, at first this album lacked something for me, but it quickly grew on me. The music hasn’t changed much from “Truthless Heroes” and neither did the vocals. The lyrics are still in your face and this is how we feel whether you like it or not. So what was it that was missing? Simply, the songs seemed to run together and there wasn’t that one song or two that got stuck in my head. However, just like a few of my other favorite albums, it took a while for it to grow on me.

The lyrics really speak volumes, and lead vocalist Andrew Schwab always has a way of getting his message across. I love the way they sing or scream their thoughts to the audience. In “My will be a dead man,” it talks about the struggle we all have inside our minds and with our flesh and how there always seems to be a showdown at high noon. It’s something everyman has to deal with in life. In “Sincerely Ichabod” and “Wordsmith Legacy,” Project 86 express their feeling on past albums and what it’s like to be in the spot light, how sometimes every word can be a double edged sword.

Is “And the rest will follow” better then their previous albums? Does it break new ground for Project 86? In truth no, but this isn’t a bad CD either. I really do like the music and lyrics. Previous fans will love it and some new ones will as well. All in all, I give “And the rest will follow” a 4 out of 5.
